The Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays are a busy time everywhere, especially Lake Havasu City. Yacht Club members usually celebrate with a private party or gathering, frequently to watch the festivities from a favorite spot.

Memorial Day

Our celebration at a member's home featured the touring NASCAR car of Robbie Gordon, complete with a demonstration program to enable individuals to try their hand at a simulated race. The day wasn't complete until everyone had sat in the driver's seat and tested their skill.

4th of July

The 4th of July fireworks display is always a favorite of Yacht Club members and visitors alike in Lake Havasu City. And what better place to be for the fireworks than on our boats. A slight twist to that plan was to watch from our boats (and docks) in the Lake Havasu Marina. The plan and the fireworks were perfect!
