LBYC members love their boats, but they're no strangers to camping on land either. One of the favorite destinations among our members is Williams, Arizona, because a campground there has it all: campsites among the trees , motel rooms for those without camping rigs and a chance to spend the night in a remodeled railroad car, proximity to a local golf course as well as the Grand Canyon and, of course, local restaurants when you prefer not to cook---all just a few hours away from Havasu. Just check out the photos below and discover why yacht club land camping can be a lot of fun! The first day at the campsite was for exploring, with fishbowl margaritas and dinner in town, and a Mexican hat for the birthday boy!
Our own golf tournament at a local golf course started with practice putting, then everyone to the first tee!
Dinner that evening at the campground was a spectacular cookout followed by prizes for the winning teams...
And a London Bridge Yacht Club Appreciation Plaque for the campground owners.
