On the Lake, Mardi-Gras Style - Today's News-Herald, February 29, 2008

    The London Bridge Yacht Club will celebrate Mardi Gras with an Opening Day Boat Parade and dinner to benefit Special Olympics March 8. The parade starts at 2 p.m. when decorated boats glide through Bridgewater Channel and turning around after greeting the Mardi Gras King, Commodore Don Jimison. The parade will be followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m. at Shugrue's. Cost is $40 per person. For details, contact Mary at 208-5886.
